Ted's hand(s)?

I might sound really weird and random, but I just realised that there is something wrong wit Ted's hand from the first episode of season 8. (okay, I didn't realised it, someone pointed out x,D)


But seriously, I feel so strange with that...what could happen to him to be injured like this? (And he is all alone too =c )

I might be just me, but his left hand seems like it has a bruise or anyway a brunt or something like that (though it could only be me who is seeing things or it's simply the book.)
