Anyway what made me happy by reading this was:
-The region (Kalos) is not only inspired by the magnificent country of France, but it's also in the shape of a Star >U< A STAR!! It's so great x,D I don't know, I just love stars so much and this was just wow xD I think I will like this game a lot. The other thing I hope to be is to see inspirations of other countries of Europe in other cities. I would love that so much =3= But no matter what, by looking at the pictures of the city, it makes me want to travel so much lol TUT It reminds me so much of France and Europe, the people who designed the place definitely did a great job QuQ
-Another thing that intrigues me is the fact that it seems to have a lot of aspects that remind me of light... I mean this is just a theory and I am pretty neutral for the light-type that many speculate but let's start by the name of the city; Lumiose. Lumiose reminds me so much of "Lumière" the French word for light. In fact, the French word that it reminds me the most is "Luminosité" which means something that is "bright" or "shiny". I don't know the exact definition since I am using my head to translate it roughly and I am not using a "good" dictionary ( I will check in a good one later). Anyway, what is interesting is that it also gives the definition of something that has to do with stars or celestial (roughly translated as the power of radiation of a star) which is really interesting because the region is shaped like a star. Plus, if you look at the video that was out a few weeks ago about Sylveon and the mini-movie of Pikachu; in the small preview of the movie you can see Sylveon and the other Eeveelutions being in some place that looks a lot like "space" or the sky...you could see in the background what looked like stars and space. ( if you want to see it there is a video made by Marriland )Anyway, I am not sure if all this is a coincidences (it might be?! We never know; I noticed that Game Freak likes to troll us sometimes...) or if it means something, but the fact about these little details just reminds me of the "light/bright" aspect, maybe because of the stars.
Anyway that's just my quick theory =3=
Also as for the customization of the character, I think you can also choose the eye color. Once again, it's just a theory, but if you look at the page of the character, you can see it's art on the left. Both the male and female characters are see with their "default" customization with grayish eyes. But on the right when you look at the screenshots of the game, you can see the "default" costumization with blue eyes... However...now that I really look at it...it seems like the art of the female trainer on the left is the one with the brownish hair colour...I think! I am still not sure if the art is featuring her with the blond hair or the brown...I seriously thought it was blond O_O On second thought, this theory might not be correct lol sorry x,D
Another thing that I noticed is the trainers. Apparently, from what it looks like, you can see what seems to be a close up of what the trainer you battle look like. I can't explain properly I think, so just look at the image lol x,D
Anyway, the more I learn about it the more I am interested to know more lol x,D
