I came back from vacation yesterday and I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year qwq

I am so tired but I am going to talk a about my trip in general. It is kinda long actually and it seems like it's only about complains. But it wasn't so bad. It seems like I complain a lot because I am really tired and just still annoyed about some stuff. So read if you want x,D I might post about interesting things about the trip in another post when I'll feel better. I will also talk about my updates about fics and art in another part too.
Anyway, I went to Cuba for the last week and I came back yesterday. Cuba was a beautiful country, people there are so nice and so warm and the ocean was the most beautiful ocean I ever saw. The water was so clear and calm and warm, beautiful turquoise. It was soooo pretty.
I already been to the south for vacation, last year I went to the Dominican Republic for the holidays and even if Dominican Republic was also a beautiful country, there we were recommended to not walk alone in the streets because it was dangerous and the hotel resort was closed to prevent us to go outside alone. In Cuba there were no such things, there was no danger to go outside alone, everyone was nice and it was really secure. It was a nice experience to just walk in the streets just like the people there qwq
But my experience in Cuba was unfortunately not the best x,D lol All of the reasons are personal reasons that has nothing to do with the country. Mostly I really disliked the hotel organisation that I stayed in. It was the think that really annoyed me the most during the trip; the food they prepared were always the same and the Air conditioning in my room was half broken which both things made me sick TuT Near the end of the vacation, I was too sick to do anything, I was just coping x,D
The other thing in the Hotel that annoyed me is the fact that they didn't let us stay more than 2 in the same room. I went with my family and we had to reserved another room for me and my brother to stay. Unfortunately, the two rooms were separated and kinda far away from each other. Another bad point, was that the neighbor of the next door room that I got was the worse! He wouldn't stop yelling and putting is TV on at the max volume in like 3 am in the morning. It was the worse!! @_@ I should have complained because with the days he only made things worse. Anyway, the tourist there were so annoying and rude in general, other people I knew had the same problem unfortunately. It was just lame that none of the people who worked at the hotel did anything to solve the situation. Anyway these were my major complains. I know it might sound silly, but it was actually the reason why I found the vacation not the best. It was definitely a pain.
The only last bad thing were the flight back, it was the worse flight ever! We were supposed to leave Cuba at 10 pm and arrive at Ottawa at around 2 am. Well we left at that time, but a few minutes before landing in Ottawa, we had a message from the pilot that the grounds were frozen and covered with Ice and it was too dangerous to land. The airport of Ottawa was on hiatus; no plane could land and no plane could depart. It was the same for the other airports close to Ottawa, the only airport that was okay was the airport of Toronto. So we landed there instead, but once we arrived, there were too many planes before us, because every plane from the other airports landed in Toronto. So we had to stay 4 hours inside the plane before going inside the airport. It was so long, there were no food and they didn't even want us to go to the bathroom! It was so tedious and stupid! It was near 6 am that we could finally get out of the plane and go inside the Toronto's airport. And omg, the airport was so big and complicated. the people of the company of the plane told us to go trough the usual procedures when we left the plane; check the passports, get our luggage etc. so we all thought that we were about to take another plane to return to Ottawa again. However, after the procedures, we realised that we could only return back by bus T_T From Toronto to Ottawa it was 5 hours of bus. We arrived at 3 pm home! We were only too tired omg
