(fanfic) APH-Happy New Year!

It's my first post of the year on the first day of the year!! YAY! QuQ Today was a good day, hope it is a good sign. Anyway, I made a little fic (403 words!) for the new year x3

I will post it before the xmas one x,D That's because this one is shorter qwq I am starting to really enjoy writing short fics recently.  Anyway, I hope you guys will enjoy it and I hope you guys had a good day!! uwu

Happy New Year!

Ivan opened his eyes slowly when he heard loud noises.

He rapidly noticed that the TV was still on, loud music coming from it and showing people being all happy and celebrating.

It was already the new year!

Still a little sleepy, Ivan turned around to see that he wasn’t the only one who felt asleep. Next to him was Yao, serenely resting his head on Ivan’s shoulders. A soft smile appeared on the lips of the Russian.

Ivan took a party popper and a party blowout, and blew into it, making a small, but annoying noise that rapidly woke Yao up.

The Chinese was confused when he opened his eyes, noticing the little confetti’s that came out of the party popper all around him, and rapidly looked at Ivan.

“Happy New Year my lovely sunflower!” Ivan chimed as soon as he was positive that Yao was completely awake.

“What? It’s the new year’s already aru?” Yao asked puzzled. He didn’t remember falling asleep.

Ivan and he had planned to celebrate the New Year’s quietly together this year, however, he wasn’t expecting to fall asleep so early and actually miss the countdown.

“It’s okay da! I fell asleep too.” Ivan chuckled, giving him a gentle smile.

“Aiya!” Yao mentally blamed himself for having easily fallen asleep.

However, he was surprised by the lips of the Russian brushing his’. Yao was more than happy to return the kiss, his lips lingering on Ivan’s for a while.

“Happy New Year Ivan aru!” Yao finally said after the kiss, giving the other a gentle smile as well. The kind of smile Ivan absolutely adored seeing. “Let’s hope for a healthy and happy year!” He added.

Ivan agreed. ”It’s going to be such a fun year!”

“What makes you think that, Ivan aru? We spend the first seconds of it sleeping.” Yao pointed out, laughing a little by the situation.

“It doesn’t matter. I spent the day and the New Year peacefully with you.” Ivan announced happily. “It was relaxing. And as long as we are together, that’s what matters da!”

Yao was not expecting that answer. Nonetheless, really quickly a smile drew on his lips.

“I feel the same way Ivan.” He replied.

Yao laid his head again on Ivan’s shoulders and the other rested his head of his’.

Rapidly they both ended up closing their eyes and falling back to sleep together.
